The massive Armoire transformation

As soon as our clients brought this piece to us to refinish, I knew it would turn out amazing. It’s built so well, it’s sturdy and has stunning details that I knew I could really bring attention to with the right Finish. Whenever I have massive pieces like this to refinish I know that’s it’s going to be a long process and a lot of work but its Always worth it in the end. We used the color marshmallow for this piece and distressed the details and added a espresso stain to all the distressing !

We kept all the original brass hardware because it is stunning! The hardware that is on the doors by the hinges were very time consuming to work around because we couldn’t remove them, so taping off around them and sanding smooth was quite challenging and so much more time consuming than anticipated but it’s all the small Details that really make a piece have that wow factor.

Look at those details , they make my heart so happy! This piece really Is a showstopper now
