Let’s start with the before pics. As soon as we began to work on this piece , the side leg fell off..... and this piece definitely put up a good fight for our sanity 🤣🤣🤣 I just kept hearing Kelly Clarkson singing “ what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger “ 🎼🎼🎼🎤

Once we clamped and glued that back together, I sanded and sanded and sanded some more. The chair sanded so beautiful I ended up keeping it wood instead of painting it. I stained it to be darker to match there current bedroom furniture. When I removed the teal fabric that was on there was a nice black vinyl leather type fabric on there so I thought that fit there bedroom much better. I primed and painted the piece with an enamel alkalyd based paint , distressed and stained the edges of the vanity. The top I was trying to get a wood stain look but since it was a laminate plastic material nothing i used seemed to look right so I ended up doing it with the same color as the piece but kept the trim around it wood for contrast. I switched the hardware out for something to match the hardware in there bedroom so it would all look more cohesive .

The power of paint is truly amazing! It can transform a piece, a wall, a room , a barn! What do you think of this furniture flip ? Do you have a piece you think needs some love ?

Paint color- Magnolia Earl Gray in Valspar furniture and cabinet enamel paint

Stain- Jacobean and dark walnut minwax

Lets find another piece to flip !!!
